Our Department
At the Digital Analytics Practice of Horizon Next we build custom analytical solutions and services to support various client and media teams. Our offerings include Testing, Optimization Modeling, Revenue Forecasting, Performance Reporting, Frequency Analysis, Smart Benchmarking and Anomaly Detection, KPI Development, Multi-touch Attribution and several consulting services in the Display, Paid Search, Paid Social, Digital Audio, OTT space.
Job Summary
We are currently seeking an Analyst, Digital Media Analytics to help continue our expansion in our Digital Analytics Department. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of digital metrics; from the brand, digital, search and analytical perspective as well as a track record of successfully building analytic approaches across a broad mix of digital clients. A combination of critical technical tool experience along with managerial experience is key for this diverse internal and client-facing role. A major responsibility of this role will be to build the Horizon Media approach and infrastructure for digital analytics on existing clients as well as provide measurement guidance on all new business pitches. This is a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to help drive innovation and thought leadership throughout a vibrant and dynamic organization.
What You will Do

15% - Communicate concise data points, trends, and measurement strategies to a broad audience - from development and technical experts to traditional brand leadership and analyze information to bring forward insights, results, and suggesting optimizations to improve said results and help build the team to develop clear and concise dashboarding that will deliver information in a digestible manner.

25% - Work closely across the media planning and brand strategy teams to develop KPIs and reporting methodologies / approaches that match back to campaign and brand goals and to communicate that based on client needs.

40% - Must be able to peel through the layers of reported data, disregarding the unnecessary, and deliver analysis and insight in a constructive and concise manner both internal and external client constituents.

15% - Must be able to manage client expectations successfully throughout the engagement and ability to suggest and work on models to better analyze client data and optimize KPIs.

5% - Develop Multi-Touch Attribution models, Media Mix Modeling techniques to forecast budget, allocate media, analyze media reach and frequency, and recommend market testing, A/B testing to client.
Preferred Skills & Experience

Masters or PG degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science/Engineering or related field required.

Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications.

Expertise in Tableau and any other data visualization tools.

1+ years of working experience on SQL based scripting.

Experience in written and verbal communication with expertise in handling technical and non-technical audience.

Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms (using regression, classification forecasting yield models).

Hands on project experience on Python or R.

Experience managing and coordinating efforts across various teams/offices.

Salary Range
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
