Position Overview: As a Sneaker Stock Associate, your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain the inventory of sneakers in a retail or distribution setting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate stock levels, organizing the storage area, and facilitating efficient retrieval and replenishment of sneakers. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of sneaker brands and models will contribute to a smooth and streamlined stock management process.
Responsibilities:
Stock Management: Receive incoming shipments of sneakers and ensure accurate recording of quantities received. Update inventory systems or databases to reflect new stock levels.
Inventory Organization: Organize sneakers in the storage area, ensuring proper categorization, labeling, and placement to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy retrieval.
Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and proactively initiate replenishment activities to ensure that shelves and displays are adequately stocked at all times.
Quality Control: Conduct periodic quality checks on sneakers to identify any damages, defects, or discrepancies. Document and report any issues promptly.
Stock Rotation: Implement proper stock rotation practices to ensure that older inventory is brought to the forefront, reducing the likelihood of unsold or expired stock.
Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical inventory with the recorded stock levels, identifying and investigating any discrepancies.
Collaborative Communication: Coordinate with the purchasing, sales, and merchandising teams to align stock levels with anticipated demand, upcoming promotions, and sales events.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of different sneaker brands, models, colorways, and associated details to facilitate accurate identification and retrieval.
Documentation and Reporting: Generate reports on stock levels, stock movement, and any relevant stock-related metrics. Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and potential stock-related issues.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and protocols while handling sneakers, including following proper sanitation procedures, maintaining cleanliness in the stock area, and using personal protective equipment as required.
Qualifications:
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively, ensure proper categorization, and optimize space utilization.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to identify and document any damages, defects, or discrepancies accurately during quality checks.
Sneaker Knowledge: Familiarity with different sneaker brands, models, colorways, and common characteristics to assist with accurate identification and stock organization.

Analytical Skills: Basic analytical skills to analyze stock data, identify trends, and make informed decisions regarding stock replenishment and rotation.
Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills, including working with inventory management systems, data entry, and generating stock-related reports.
Teamwork: A collaborative mindset, working effectively as part of a team and supporting others as needed.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, move, and handle boxes and packages weighing up to a certain limit (as required by the role) and perform physical tasks associated with stock management.
