The right candidate will be authentically passionate in wanting to lead and grow our front of house restaurant team and operations. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan, and manage all beverage orders, scheduling of staff and financial needs for the F&B outlet and for our banquets/meeting events booked through the sales team. The ideal candidate will also be passionate about hospitality and. The goal of the position is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
- Direct oversight of our banquets, restaurant, and bar as it applies to Front of House (FOH) operations.
- Plan and oversee the functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage Department to meet the daily needs of operation.
- Clearly assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food and beverage sub-departments, i.e., restaurant, bars, banquets, in room dinning, etc.
- Manage schedules for the successful operation and profitability of all banquets, restaurant, and bar. Must be proactive to potential scheduling changes due to call outs or pop-up events.
- Implement effective control of beverage and labor costs among all sub-departments.
- Lead the FOH Food and Beverage team in establishing and achieving predetermined profit objectives and desired standards of Beverage quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Focus on total F&B profitability and average checks.
- Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer acceptance of the restaurants and banquet service.
- Identify and recommend new menu items, operating and marketing policies needed increase sales and identify dissatisfaction of customers or a change in the competitive environment if necessary.
- Participate in the food & beverage departments’ social media effort in collaboration with sales and marketing.
- Develop operating tools and outside the box ideas while collaborating with other department heads to achieve success with revenue, budgeting, forecasting, beverage recipes, portion specifications, menu creation, etc.
- Continuously evaluate the performance and provide coaching to encourage improvement of the FOH team in the food and beverage department. Plan and administer training and development programs within the department which will provide well-trained team members at all levels and permit advancement for those persons qualified and interested in career development.
- Oversee departmental matters as they relate to federal, state, and local employment and civil rights laws in cooperation with General Manager & Human Resources.
- Perform other assignments as directed by the General Manager and VP of Hospitality.
- Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company including, but not limited to those contained in the associate handbook.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, the F&B Manager may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

- Ability to monitor, correct, and enter tips/service changes on employee timecards to aid in payroll processing.

- Ability to exchange information in the process of communicating with investors, managers, vendors and clients.
Physical Demands
- 5-7 hours of the workday requires standing or walking.
- Most work tasks are performed indoors.
- Must be able to regularly lift 20-30lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
