About the Position: The Poster Installer at NextGrad (formally Glacier) is a casual contracted position who is the physical installer of our in-high school vinyl ads and a representative for NextGrad. The contractor, based from their home, will be responsible for creating their own schedule and driving to and from partner high schools to install these posters. This role does allow for a significant amount of flexibility and is ideal for self-employed, semi-retired individuals.
We are looking for a confident, polite and outgoing individual who has day-time availability (Monday-Friday). They must be an excellent and prompt communicator and must have familiarity with technology including the camera function on their phone, Google Drive, spreadsheets, and email. This individual will need to have their own personal vehicle to travel to individual schools for installs and be able to accept package deliveries at their home.
Responsibilities:
- Review all install assignments in a timely manner via our project management program (Asana)
- Create a personal install schedule based on provided deadlines and school lists
- Coordinate install schedule with the Operations and High School Partnership teams
- Send and manage email communications with existing High School contacts via provided Gmail account
- Manage the receiving of shipped posters
- Travel to predetermined high schools and install posters
- Take multiple pictures of installed posters and upload images to Google Drive
- Track and input travel and hours into tracking spreadsheet
- Remove any old posters as determined by the Operations team

Compensation: $100/4 hours (flat) + mileage ($0.67/mile as indicated by the federal government)
Hours: Since this is a ‘side-gig’ type role, please note that installs will vary significantly week to week and month to month. Generally, they will take approximately 3-6 hours (per campaign), with peak times increasing to approximately 10-25 hours/week. The busy work season is September to May with our busiest times in September/October and January/February. Installs must take place between 8:00am - 3:30pm (Monday-Friday).
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible schedule and availability
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Intermediate experience using G-Suite
- Comfortable with technology (GoogleDrive, Asana, taking photos and uploading online)
- Accessible delivery location for FedEx
- Personal vehicle with the ability to travel in and around the area (as described in ‘working location’ above)
- Class 5 driver’s license
