We work with the leaders of medicine in the Mid-South to provide them with the highest quality staffing and services available. We prefer a minimum of 2 years' experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare team and contribute to the success of our organization!
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Description
The certified professional coder analyzes and translates medical and clinical diagnoses, procedures, injuries, or illnesses into designated numerical codes. Codes records for use and planning for physician offices. Performs basic chart auditing.
- Successfully communicating and working with cohesive administrative team!
- Making sure that codes are assigned correctly and sequenced appropriately as per government and insurance regulations
- Complying with medical coding guidelines and policies
- Receiving and reviewing patients’ charts and documents for verification and accuracy of urological procedures
- Collecting information generated by the department from different sources to prepare monthly reports
- Implementing strategic procedures and choosing strategies and evaluation methods that provide correct results
- All other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent computer skills, 10 key by touch, filing and typing proficiency, familiarity with CPT-4 and ICD-10 coding. CPC is strongly preferred!
