Job Title: Customer Service Advocate
Overview of Job Duties:
The Customer Service Advocate is a liaison between the sales team, logistics and our customer. This position is customer-focused with responsibilities that include but are not limited the following:
· Manages calls from customers and sales team – ranging from simple to complex across a wide spectrum of topics
· Manages queue of requests by priority level
· Primary customer liaison for customer credits, returns and inquiries
· Maintains an accurate inventory control system by posting orders and other transactions in a timely manner
· Places orders for AFT Evaluation kits and direct orders
· Assists in verifying pricing on sales invoices as required
· Initiates Return Authorizations from field inventory
· Provides order status updates and tracking information
· Provide sales support – including price confirmations and establishing new customers
· Forecast and plan resources for future cases
· Support marketing and sales initiatives
· Attends training sessions as required
· Performs other tasks as assigned
Education Requirements:
2 year technical degree
Experience:
3+ years of Customer Service/Inventory Management experience
Skills & Abilities:
· Must have the ability to multi-task work in a fast-paced environment
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Professional, outgoing and personable
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Prior experience in the medical device industry or other GMP-related industry
· Understands inventory control methods
Preferred:
· Strong regulatory knowledge related to medical device inventory, tracking and reporting.
· Comprehensive understanding of spinal orthopedic products.
