Description:
- We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Medical Assistant to join our team (internal title is Clinical Specialist (CS)). The ideal candidate will be cross-trained in our Clinical Specialist positions, providing support in various areas of patient care and clinical operations. This role requires a proactive, adaptable, and experienced individual committed to delivering excellent patient care and contributing to a dynamic healthcare environment — a jack of all trades who can seamlessly transition between different responsibilities.
- There are four different Clinical Specialist roles; CS1 (Pre- and Post-Procedure), CS2 (Patient Consults), CS3 (1st Assistant to Physician Proceduralist) and CS4 (Procedure Room Circulator).

Schedule:
- M-F, 8 -10hr shifts, Rotational Saturdays
- Travel between our Corpus Christi and Victoria, Texas locations is required (travel and mileage reimbursement provided)
CS1 Responsibilities:
- Obtaining and monitoring vital signs & pedal pulses
- Preparing the groin for access
- Monitor access site, assuring hemostasis
- Discharging the patient home
- Documenting all information in our EMR.
- Inventory and supply management
CS2 Responsibilities:
- Patient Consults
- Assisting the NP and US Tech with screening of PAD
- Obtaining H&P and medication list
- Performing ABIs, vital signs, blood draws
- Wound care
- Taking photos of any wounds
- Completion of patient charting/documentation.
- Report to the NP with findings
CS3 Responsibilities:
- First Assistant/Surgical Assistant
- Setting out necessary instruments
- Position the patient on the operating table
- Handing instruments to the Proceduralist
- Hand dexterity is important
- Keep a sterile environment at all times
- This position requires physical endurance... you will be on your feet for 90%+ of your shift.
- Must wear lead vests, which add 10-15 lbs of additional weight.
CS4 Responsibilities:
- Procedure Room Circulator
- Patient flow is running smoothly
- Making sure the patient has followed all pre-procedure guidelines
- Reviewing patient charts, labs, H&P
- Dispensing medications
- Documenting the procedure and building the report.
- Handling patient complications
- This position requires a high level of medical knowledge and experience.

- We currently do not offer paid holidays or paid time off. Our pay is at the 99th percentile for all positions in the locations that we are in. Higher pay has a far higher dollarized value than paid holidays or PTO does. Thus, we do not offer paid holidays or PTO -- we offer the highest pay around.

Required:
- 18-month minimum commitment required
- Spanish fluency is preferred
- A+ customer service-oriented attitude, charisma, and excellent bedside manner.

- Tech savviness - Experience with EMR systems and Google Workspace
- Excellent organization and time management skills
