TITLE: COMPLIANCE OFFICER
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT, HOURLY EMPLOYEE
OVERVIEW: HOA Management companies are responsible for a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of a residential community. They are typically involved in drafting and enforcing community rules and regulations. An HOA manager facilitates disputes between neighbors in the community they manage as they relate to the HOA. For example, they may handle complaints about excessive noise, encroachment on property lines, or violation of rules. The HOA Manager is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of common areas in a community. They may retain a landscaping company to cut grass and care for plants and trees. An HOA management company also handles the financial matters of the HOA, including the collection of association fees from residents and drafting and maintaining the budget.
We have a need for a sharp reliable Compliance Officer who can assist the HOA Manager in conducting compliance drive-throughs. You will be a part of a small management team working closely with your assigned Manager.

Hours/Week: 40 hr
Starting Salary: $19.00 - $21.00
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Compliance Officer is responsible for conducting compliance inspections for our clients paying special attention to: Landscaping, Parking, Overall Maintenance, Trash Cans, etc. The Compliance Officer is also responsible for processing the photos taken during the inspection.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with a variety of board members
- Must be self-directed
- High level of organizational and time management skills
- Higher than typical knowledge of computers
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to travel to various locations in King, Pierce, and Thurston Counties
- Knowledge of Caliber software is a plus
- Experience in security, corrections, or military preferred but not required
Education: Bachelor's Degree, security experience, and experience with associations is preferred, but not required.
