The Ideal candidate must have at least 3 years management experience in a fast-paced high-volume establishment, and experience in a nightlife environment.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and directly supervise a team of 20+ employees, consistently demonstrating strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate the team to exceed expectations. Write schedules, manage staff, and make real-time staffing decisions based on weather and predicted volume.
- Staff Development: Coach, mentor, and counsel staff regularly, providing ongoing support and guidance to foster professional growth. Assist with the training of new hires and existing staff, including menu dish descriptions, service manual updates, and continual training follow-ups.
- Communication: Conduct engaging and educational pre-shift meetings to motivate and prepare the team for successful service. Present information effectively and respond professionally to questions from managers, team members, and guests.
- Engagement: Interact with guests, making them feel welcome and ensuring they have a memorable experience.
- Operations Management: Oversee payroll, schedules, labor, inventory levels, ordering, and other operational aspects to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Capacity Management: Manage crowd control and ensure smooth operations during peak times.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Event Director to seamlessly run events.
- Compliance: Uphold Department of Health standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve challenging guest situations with patience, understanding, and tact, and mediate conflicts between service team members.
- Problem-Solving: Apply creative solutions to practical problems, especially in situations with limited standardization.
- Team Collaboration: Balance working independently and within a team environment, effectively managing both team and individual responsibilities.

· Prefer Knowledge of Wines, Spirits, and Cocktails: Enhance guest experiences with expertise.
