Birth Registrar - Full Time - Day

Work hours: Full Time: Day Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30PM. Must be available for 1 week of system training in Arlington, TX

Here’s What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 2 Years Customer Service Experience Required and
- 1 Year Healthcare experience including Medical Records (HIM) Preferred
- Other AOP Certification Upon Hire Req And
- Other Texas Birth Registrar Certification Upon Hire Req And
- Other Digital Fingerprinting Background Check Upon Hire Req And
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 90 Days Req
- Requires great written, oral, and telephone communication skills.
- Requires proficiency in general office equipment, PCs, and associated software packages.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize daily work.
What You Will Do
- Accurately retrieves required information and identification for timely completion of birth certificate following all necessary steps to ensure validity.
- Clearly and effectively communicates Texas Laws and regulations of paternity to intended parents to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Ensures compliance with state of Texas laws and regulations.
- Obtains completed ImmTrac (Texas Immunization) Registration Form and Social Security Form from parent.
- Assists parents with paternity paperwork, denials, and information changes.
- Knowledge in all areas of birth registration including Surrogacy and Adoption.
- Meets all required deadlines including submitting documentation within 5 days of every birth and can efficiently work in a fast-paced environment.
