The James Beard award-winning team of Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne is seeking a charismatic, organized, detail-oriented, and well-rounded Event Manager to join our team at AOC! Exciting environment with well-seasoned team.
The A.O.C. Event Manager is the client and restaurant point of contact for all private events and oversees the booking, planning, execution, and follow-up of all private events.
We are looking for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, are reliable and responsible, and able to manage multiple priorities at once while maintaining grace and composure. Must be driven and able to work well independently as well as able to communicate and interface productively with the FOH and culinary teams.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) booking the event, coordinating the logistics, staying within the allocated budget and ensuring that the event itself is successfully carried out. The position is also responsible for responding to and cultivating sales leads, promoting the destination, and building customer/client relationships. The Event Coordinator will maintain client files, provide sales contracts, and coordinate all aspects of the event including management of on-site staff, menu selection, and responding to and communicating to management, as needed, any event special needs or details.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Working rapidly for long periods of time.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time when needed.

- Use of keyboard, computer, printer, copier and other standard office equipment.
- Adequate hearing and vision (with or without correction).
