Grocery Outlet is an independantly owned Grocery Store located in Atascadero, CA.
Responsibilities will include (depending on position)
Keep shelves stocked with products, ensuring that all items are facing forward and are easily accessible to customers.
Assist customers with finding items, answering questions about products, and providing recommendations.
Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized store, including sweeping floors, wiping down counters, and organizing display cases.
Label and price products as needed.
Assist with receiving shipments and organizing merchandise in the stockroom.
Managing staff
Closing store
Requirements
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
· Basic understanding of math and cash handling.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
· Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Please note that previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred, but not required. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
