Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Health Services Administrator to oversee the management and operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and compliance with all healthcare regulations.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the health services department
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Review and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Medicare and HIPAA regulations
- Oversee medical records management and ensure confidentiality
- Utilize physiology knowledge to assess patient needs and monitor their well-being
- Coordinate patient monitoring activities and ensure appropriate care is provided
- Supervise assisted living services within the facility
Qualifications:
·Current LVN licensure required. Current RN licensure preferred; Experience in long-term care community health, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nursing desirable; 5 years’ experience working in a senior community and have supervisory experience..
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in nurse management or healthcare administration
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support staff
- Proficient in documentation review and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Medicare and HIPAA regulations
- Understanding of medical records management processes
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques
- Experience in overseeing assisted living services
