Body Shop/Collision Parts Coordinator
Young Chevrolet is looking for a Body Shop/Collision Parts Coordinator to join our fast-growing team. The Parts Coordinator is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods and is responsible for customer and retail sales in the Collision Department. This individual must be precise, prioritizing, and team-oriented while having the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job functions include but not limited to:

Aids all customers of the Body Shop in selecting parts for their automotive needs. The Parts Coordinator informs customers of the requirements for companion parts and ensures that the full product line is available.

Answers calls requesting price quotes and other pertinent information. The Parts Coordinator follows up on back-ordered components.

Reviews estimates from the Body Shop to ensure the correct parts are delivered and pricing is consistent with the estimate. The Parts Coordinator delivers body shop orders and ensures all parts are tagged with customer names and job numbers.

Provides parts orders from numerous departments and confirms the accuracy of the order against the invoice. The Parts Coordinator provides excellent service to internal and external customers.

Recognizes the flow of incoming and outgoing materials to meet productivity objectives and ensures the steady flow of materials in the supply chain.

Employee Prerequisites:

Onboarding process completed within days of applying!

Stands, walks, or sits for a long period without resting. (Up to 5 hours) Must have the capability to leave up to 100 pounds.

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

Basic math strategies include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Prior parts training or experience is preferred. Pay based on experience.
