Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic individual with a passion for connecting with healthcare providers, community organizations, and individuals to ensure that those in need receive the highest quality end-of-life care. This candidate will play a vital part in building and maintaining relationships within the community, facilitating access to hospice care, and promoting awareness of our services.
Responsibilities:
1.Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, physicians, hospitals, and other referral sources to promote awareness of hospice services.
2. Educate healthcare providers and community organizations about the benefits of hospice care and the support services available.
3. Conduct in-service presentations to healthcare professionals and staff to enhance their understanding of hospice eligibility and services.
4. Collaborate with case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to identify potential hospice patients and facilitate timely referrals.
5. Participate in community events, health fairs, and other outreach activities to promote hospice services and foster community engagement.
6. Act as a liaison between the hospice agency and external partners, ensuring clear communication and coordination of care.
7. Provide support and information to patients and their families regarding hospice services, addressing questions and concerns.
8. Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and competitors to make informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach, preferably in healthcare or hospice.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Knowledge of hospice and palliative care services and eligibility criteria.
4. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
5. Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences.
6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
