About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fleet and Safety Coordinator. This role provides critical support in ensuring our company fleet's smooth operation and safety. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks related to vehicle maintenance, licensing, driver safety, and recordkeeping. You will also actively contribute to our safety culture, mission, and philosophy.
What You Will Do:

You will be instrumental in developing site-specific SSOPs (Site Safety Operation Procedures), a crucial aspect of our operations. This includes but is not limited to, the development of JHA’s, LOTO, and Haz Com procedures.

Communicate with division leaders concerning local regulatory agency visits, including, but not limited to, OSHA, DOT, EPA, the local fire department, and other compliance agencies.

Assist in ensuring smooth new hire orientation training through HSI training modules.

Assist General Managers with root cause analysis after an incident has occurred.

Prepare reports showing monthly and quarterly safety initiative results.

Promotes safety and health awareness through attending divisional meetings and communications.

Assists divisions in developing hazard communication programs and SDS manuals for division-specific chemical libraries.

Reviews process-operating procedures/records and provides input for safety and health considerations when new hazards are identified.

Must understand and be able to work with the MVA on licensing and registrations.

Must understand driver qualification files, be able to explain requirements to drivers, and collect the necessary documents.

Must be able to communicate to drivers requirements of Random Drug Screens, Clearinghouse requirements, and all other Driver DOT rules

Must be able to keep a detailed spreadsheet for authorized drivers and communicate this to our division leaders
What You Will Need:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred College Degree in a Related Field is preferred

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a fleet management or administrative role.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Valid driver's license

Experience with fleet management software is a plus

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures is a plus

Understanding safety regulations related to commercial vehicles is a plus

This position requires regular travel to division locations and job sites upwards of 70% of the time. This could include weekdays, weeknights, and, on rare occasions, weekends.

Compensation for this position is $60,000 - $67,000 annually, depending on experience.
