- Uphold company standards in carrier contracts, safety ratings, insurance certificates, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Operations, carriers, and the AVP of Logistics in finalizing transportation agreements and addressing compliance issues.
- Regularly validate and monitor motor carriers’ documentation to ensure compliance.
- Analyze carrier information, maintaining adherence to FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate motor carrier files and implement a compliance alert system.
- Keep the carrier information in the TMS system up to date.
- Support LTL billing processes, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Be adaptable to changing duties and responsibilities as required.
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Previous experience in a professional office setting.
- Industry experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
- Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and other relevant federal regulations in the transportation industry.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive projects and maintain flexibility in work assignments.
