Job Description Assists with the development, implementation, and administration of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta compensation programs for assigned area(s). Supports organizational goals and objectives to ensure compliance with applicable governmental rules and regulations. Identifies issues related to compensation programs and recommends effective, timely solutions. Serves as a compensation subject matter expert. Completes projects as assigned.
Experience
5 years of professional analytical, project management, or generalist experience, with at least one years of healthcare compensation analyst experience
Experience managing organization-wide compensation projects
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare experience
SHRM-CP or CCP certification
Workday experience
MarketPay experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in finance, human resources, business administration, or related field
Certification Summary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced knowledge of state and federal compensation-related laws and regulations
High level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Must be team-oriented and able to provide leadership while coordinating and managing projects to completion
Analytical ability and detail oriented, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
Ability to translate complex analytics into a user friendly format
Ability to collaborate and communicate across multiple business lines and managerial levels within an organization
Ability to document steps and follow process guidance to accomplish a task
Ability to troubleshoot, recommend, and implement solutions to common issues
Job Responsibilities
Completes complex compensation projects with little or no supervision/guidance.
Coordinates and conducts research and analysis of compensation practices, programs, and trends; recommends solutions, and summarizes data for stakeholders.
Generates accurate and timely reports and presentations as requested by HR and leaders.
Supports organization by researching and responding to questions, interpreting policies, and otherwise assisting with compensation-related issues.
Manages annual and special projects as assigned, serving as a project lead, and coordinating related activities of other team members as appropriate.
Works with leadership to identify and recommend program changes as necessary, providing input on compensation strategy, policies, programs, and communications in consideration of the needs of the business lines.
Assesses the business needs of the organization and the impact of existing and new compensation programs in conjunction with leadership.
Complete required development activities as assigned.
Completes all job responsibilities of a Compensation Analyst.
Mentors junior team members as appropriate.
