Job Summary: We are growing, and seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Business Administration, Office, and Human Resources Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our sales, customer delivery, human resource and basic bookkeeping needs in various capacities including accounts payable entry, customer support, payroll processing, system management, and the full spectrum of employee lifecycle activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable: Basic information retrieval and payment scheduling/tracking.

Payroll: Efficiently manage payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment to all full- and part-time staff.

Collections: Email communication and data support for billing and customer follow-up.

System Management: Oversee and manage various systems and platforms, ensuring seamless operations. Systems include RingCentral (telecom), ZOOM, Microsoft for Business (email), etc.

Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure sufficient information is provided in support of cost and billing activities.

Employee Lifecycle Support: Assist with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding.

Communication: Maintain excellent communication with team members and other departments, including editing and distributing the monthly team newsletter.

Process Development: Evaluate and document processes and procedures to ensure coverage and redundancy for critical operational tasks.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in human resources or a similar role a plus.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with payroll processing and/or HR software (HRIS, CRM, ATS, etc.) preferred.

Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities.

Knack for quickly picking up new systems and processes.

Ability to be self-propelled and productive with minimal daily supervision.

High ethical standards.

Live within reasonable commute to our Newton office in order to support local events and services when needed.

Schedule: This part-time position offers flexible remote hours with the requirement to attend occasional in-person meetings. Minimum of 20 hours a week required to start.
Pay Rates: up to $30/hour; marginally negotiable for the right candidate.
Hiring Timeframe: We are planning to hire within the next month.
