Breck is seeking a Secret Cleared Communications Specialist with a background in multimedia. The candidate must have knowledge of web design, communication strategy, and marketing services. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with peers in developing content and information for external products such as custom informational graphics, crime reduction campaigns, social media campaigns, and additional related support.
The candidate will assist staff and work directly with agency content as well as knowledge managers to design and develop solutions in order to present data leveraging approved agency software. They will sustain and improve the presentation, delivery and consistency of information delivered to Intranet and public website. They will build new websites within customers’ timeframes that dynamically deliver information that support client business processes and communication objectives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 4-10 years of relevant experience and skills in conducting development and implementation of multiplatform digital campaigns, media outreach, and daily operations for the team
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in designing and tailoring messaging and content strategies to the general public and special target audiences that involved a degree of complexity
- Understanding of Target Audience – Ability to identify and analyze target audience demographic, preferences, and behaviors relevant
- Trend Analysis – Awareness of current and emerging trends in content consumption, technology, and design
- Content Strategy Development – Proficiency in translating research findings into actionable insights to form content strategy development. Capability to align content themes, formats, and distribution channels with audience interests and demands
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into content planning and execution. Communication skills to articulate findings, recommendations, and implications to stakeholders with varying levels of expertise
- Technical System Understanding – Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro). Familiarity with web design software and content management systems (such as the Armed Forces Public Information Management System)
- Familiarity with Section 508 Compliance
- Able to work within deadlines with limited oversight

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proofreading all materials produced and published for external communications
- Ensuring all content is error free, accessible and understandable by various audiences
- Reviewing work prior to submitting for approval and publishing across all communications channels
- Producing work in a timely fashion and in finished quality for daily communications products
- Able to interpret customer requirements, identify the most efficient presentation of communications products, and develop concepts that communicate information consistent with style guidelines
- Collaborating closely and independently with internal stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
- Providing a response to customers within one business day of contact
- Reviewing requirements and seeking clarification of any requirements in a timely fashion
- Collaborating with the Web Development Team to integrate multimedia content seamlessly into website layouts and user interfaces, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility
- Ensuring consistency and coherence in multimedia branding across social media platforms, website, and other digital channels
- Integrating multimedia content strategies with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns, leveraging synergies between social media and website channels to maximize impact and reach
- Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics for multimedia content on social media and website platforms, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Content Development, and UX/UI
- Produce concepts, script, storyboard, schedule and deadlines for select forms of media projects
- Produce short segments designed for social media using video content and stock footage to support larger agency initiatives
- Actively partake in pre-production, production and post-production (editing) on assigned video projects that support social media and website
- Monthly activity report (DEL02) to include the following:
o The status of the contractor’s tasking for the completed external graphics for website and social media articles, series of social media lessons learned and communications related materials
o The status of the contractors’ tasking for the completed website design development for the
external website
o The status of the contractors’ tasking for the completed pre- and post-production video
operations support required for external website and social media products
- Weekly staffing management report of contracted personnel submitted to the COR
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Digital Media, Multimedia, or other related field preferred
WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
- Hybrid-remote, candidate will be expected to go onsite at Quantico up to one to two times per month. Candidate will not be compensated for travel
