Due to our continued growth, we are looking for solid professionals that are seeking the right opportunity with huge growth potential. Currently we are looking for an Estimator to join our Brookings ABRA Auto Body and Glass team.
Pay Scale: $40,000 - $60,000 yearly, plus monthly bonus opportunity depending on experience and room for advancement.

Responsibilities:
· Inspect and analyze damaged vehicles ($100-$4,000) to create accurate and complete repair estimates that minimize additional supplements.
· Drives shop’s Capture Ratio by consistently following ABRA’s sales process converting appointments/walk-ins into actual repair jobs.
· Consistently stay in contact with the customer during repair process, addresses all customer concerns and ensures customer satisfaction when repairs are complete. Deliver outstanding customer service with each customer interaction.
· Ensure all repair order files are completed accurately and are up to date.
· Process Total Loss vehicles in a timely manner, including conditioning per some DRP relationships.
· Consistently follows ABRA’s quality control processes and contributes to meeting the return rate target.
· Accesses, understands and complies with multiple insurance Direct Repair Program (DRP) requirements.
· Effectively problem-solves throughout repair process, including vehicle delivery, to reduce length of rental (LOR).
· Responsible for following ABRA’s policy on customer communication throughout the repair process and ensures that all customers understand the CSI survey process.
· Actively participate in all repair center’s problem-solving meetings to relate status of assigned vehicles and prioritize work efficiently to meet deadlines.
· Responsible for keeping the sublet board for assigned vehicles up to date, consistently follows ABRA’s quality control processes and contributes to meeting the return rate target.
· Consistently utilize all required safety equipment, adheres to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal and participates in monthly safety meetings.
· Keep personal work area organized and returns tools, materials and equipment to designated areas.
· May assist in the research, sourcing and pricing of parts and place parts orders.
· Performs other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years previous estimator experience is required
- High school diploma or GED
- Post-secondary education in collision repair preferred
- Confidence to handle high volume estimator needs under limited availability
- Ability to read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedures manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Excellent communication skills, high level of initiative, and ability to work in a team
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general math skills
- Experience in the estimating/body shop/automotive field Insurance company is preferred
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and have a valid driver’s license
- Professional appearance in accordance with body shop policies/dress code
- Ability to remain in stationary positions (standing/sitting) for extended periods of time, 6 plus hours.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. comfortably.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, or stoop occasionally.
