BFG Supply is a rapidly growing, private equity owned distribution company focused on the Green Industry that is achieving its growth goals through both organic growth and acquisitions. Given the dynamic growth of BFG in recent years, the company has identified the need to add additional Customer Service Representative. This position will report to the Customer Service Manager.
The successful person will have a focus on customer service, ability to handle incoming calls, change, review, place and track orders. This person will be able to build positive relationships with customers be extremely detail oriented and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Order Processing:
- Order entry of plant material, hard goods and/or lawn and garden items.
- Track orders from entry through shipping to insure completion.
- Follow credit and inventory management guidelines to expedite orders.
Communication:
- Field incoming calls and promptly address requests from customers, sales reps, and branches to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Work with other departments within the company to resolve issues.
- Work with customers to resolve disputes accurately and quickly.
- Communicate late order shipments and order changes to customers.
Reports:
- Track calls and provide Director, Customer Service with documentation of issues resolved on a weekly basis.
- Follow up on open purchase order reports.
Relationships:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and sales people.
- Build customer confidence and satisfaction.
Other:
- Follow department policies and procedures to maintain department standards.
- Other duties, as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in experience
- Experience in the greenhouse industry
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
