Our exceptional reputation and rapid growth necessitate our search for additional dedicated child & adolescent psychiatrists.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate child and adolescent psychiatrist with experience in ADHD and in mood and behavior disorders. As a board-certified or -eligible professional, you will be joining a team of dedicated mental health professionals who are committed to providing the highest level of care to children and adolescents.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young individuals struggling with mood and behavior disorders. You will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating these conditions, and will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans. Collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, including two other child and adolescent psychiatrists, neuropsychologists and therapists, will be critical in ensuring integrated and holistic care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents with ADHD, mood and behavior disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Prescribe and monitor medication treatment regimens as necessary
- Provide ongoing therapy and counseling services to patients and their families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and treatment
- Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Participate in case consultations and peer supervision to continually improve clinical skills
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents with ADHD, mood and behavior disorders
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mood and behavior disorders in children and adolescents
- Excellent diagnostic and assessment skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
