How This Role is Important To Our Work?
This position assists the department supervisor with large scope project work and initiatives designed to fulfill a wide range of Risk Adjustment duties.
A Day in the Life:

Oversees with the day-to-day operations of daily workflow and projects.

Executes on departmental project plans.

Coordinates and manages communication between supervisor, staff and affected parties on daily work and project expectations; resolves and tracks issues related to obstacles to meet deadlines.

Documents, maintains, and reviews medical records, process workflows, and related information in electronic files.

May coordinate the work of staff on a project or day-to-day basis.

Exercises initiative in performing administrative duties and resolving problems; tracks issues and effectively communicates operational information, maintains calendars and schedules, and coordinates meetings as needed.

Coordinate and facilitates training to new hires and staff as needed.

Act as a resource for others with less experience.

Participates in cross functional projects as subject matter expert or contributor.

Completes self-direct work and complete tasks assigned.

Partners with the supervisor to find efficiencies and effective workflows.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experiences:
-
5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.

Ability to provide proactive workflow management, juggling and prioritizing multiple projects.

Ability to solve practical problems and fulfill responsibilities under minimal supervision.

Excellent people skills including customer service skills.

Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management & planning skills

Ability to work in a high-volume atmosphere.
Nice to Have:
-
Bachelor's degree.
-
Medical records background helpful.
-
Medical coding and risk adjustment coding certificate
-
Previous project coordination experience
