The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the success of the store. The position is accountable for the achievement of sales and revenue goals, customer growth, and promoting an engaging customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Implement strategy for daily store operations. Manage daily operations, direct staff and verifies implementation of company policies, programs, and procedures. Maintains payroll and ordering budgets. Focuses on the completion of assigned tasks and providing customer service engagement.

Maintain Customer Service Standards:
Store manager is responsible for the achievement of Nashville Pet Products customer service engagement program. Maintains store environment, staffing to provide expected customer service interaction.
Leading and Developing Talent
Store manager takes an active role developing and training of staff. Continuously monitors and mentors’ junior managers.
Completion of weekly inventory ordering.
Anticipate Business needs and proactively solves problems.
Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalency, or a minimum of 3-5 years management experience.
Work a varied schedule and flexible hours. Close a minimum of one night a week. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Work any shift to meet the needs of the business.
Physical Demands:
Job requires the following. Ability to remain on your feet for sustained periods of time. Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds. Frequently lifts/or moves up to 50 pounds. Frequent Pushing, pulling, and bending of wrist, knees, and back. All movements necessary to achieve the needs of the business.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
