Hardware Resources’ primary facility is located in Bossier City, LA. We are a leading manufacturer of products for kitchen cabinets, selling to thousands of cabinet manufacturers, cabinet dealer showrooms, and retailers across America. Our products include decorative knobs and pulls, cabinet hardware such as hinges and slides, cabinet organizers, LED lighting, vanities, decorative wood, and cabinet doors and drawers. Across our twelve brands, we design, engineer, manufacture, and sell our decorative and functional hardware, cabinets, cabinet organizers, vanities, wood products, LED lighting, and luxury faucets. We sell our own, and only our own, products to thousands of kitchen and bath dealers across the country. We manufacture in 4 US locations and stock product in an additional 11 facilities across the country. We enjoy an outstanding reputation for quality and service. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and editing CAD 3D models and 2D drawings using ProEngineer Creo.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating corporate drafting standards and best practices.
- Responsible for processing Engineering Change Notices and releasing to all applicable departments.
- Must be able to measure components, acquire missing information, and ask questions necessary to complete the task.
- Will review drawings for adherence to corporate drawing standards.
- Will be the point of contact for troubleshooting Windchill PDM and working with our database service contractor.
- Uses Microsoft Office products daily tasks including correspondence with vendors overseas.
- Works closely with engineers to create and alter product designs to create model and drawing packages for quote and production.
- Will be responsible for weekly 3D printer maintenance.
- Duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience using ProEngineer Creo to model and detail components and assemblies
- Minimum 5 years of experience using Windchill PDM
- Experience in producing drawings in accordance with ANSI Y14.5M and/or ISO specifications
- Must have the ability to work from sketches, concepts, and verbal information provided by engineers to create detailed layout drawings, assembly drawings, manufacturing detail drawings, and bill of materials
- Must be able to work closely with, and under the direction of Engineers
- Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Must have strong mathematical skills, be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and be able to complete tasks quickly, efficiently, and accurately
- Must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization
- Must have strong problem-solving skills
- Must exhibit a strong work ethic
Additional Experience and Skills Considerations
- Associate’s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, plus at least seven years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
