What We’re Looking For:
The Senior Medical Economics Data Analyst will work with the Manager of Medical Economics to perform analysis on care utilization trends, develop insights into key drivers, and communicate findings to various stakeholders. Using their understanding of capitation and medical economics, they will inform strategic initiatives and help drive financial decision-making around rates, capitation, and Medicaid loss ratio.
On a typical day, you might:

Develop and implement payer analytics and economics strategies

Analyze behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data using a variety of data sources

Utilize industry trends and medical economics concepts to drive decision-making

Prepare presentations and other collateral materials to support initiatives

Participate in process improvement projects

Provide technical training and support to team members

Qualifications:
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s
Experience: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR,
Associate’s degree with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics; OR,
Preferred Experience: Two plus (2+) years’ experience in Managed Care industry
License/Certification: None identified
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status
