Overview of the Bookkeeper role:
- Process accounts payable for 10 plus entities
- Ensure payments are made through the correct business for monthly payments
- Weekly payroll for 30 - 40 total employees
- Review and ensure payroll is processed against the correct entity
- Complete quarterly and annual payroll forms
- Assist with sales tax returns when due
- Monitor accounts receivable and bank accounts
- Maintain office files for record keeping
- File specialized annual reports
- Answer client calls and route to proper employee
- Travel research and booking
- Meet strict deadlines
- Special Projects
Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:
- 2+ years of Bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks
- Solid MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and organized
- Great communication and follow-through
