POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Manager of Security will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our Nightlife guests, staff, and venue. You will work closely with the Security Manager to oversee security operations during nightlife events and other entertainment activities. The responsibilities will include managing a team of security personnel, monitoring crowd control, enforcing venue policies, and responding to incidents to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising a team of security personnel

Schedule security staff and ensure adequate coverage for all events

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to security staff

Oversee security protocols and procedures to maintain a secure environment

Monitor crowd control and ensure orderly entry and exit of guests

Enforce venue policies and address any violations appropriately

Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed

Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including disturbances, medical situations, and other security-related issues

Maintain incident logs and complete incident reports when necessary

Provide assistance to guests and staff during emergencies

Utilize surveillance systems and security technology to monitor the venue

Identify and address any security breaches or suspicious activity

Ensure all security equipment is well-maintained and in working order

Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner

Assist guests with inquiries, concerns, and requests

Act as a point of contact for guest feedback and concerns related to security

Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in security management, preferably in a nightlife or entertainment venue

Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to nightlife security

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations

First Aid/CPR certification is a plus

Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends

Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment with high call volume
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will supervise Nightlife security Members.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

SALARY
$60000 per year - $65000 per year
