Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Records Librarian to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up project files for new cases.
- OCR, organize and index documents and data received from litigation attorneys and generated by RPC staff
- Track receipt of data requested from clients.
- Maintain on-going list of documents received and advise consultants
- Prepare document listing
- Prepare electronic project file for production to client
- Prepare electronic or paper documentation for use by consultants in deposition and trial testimony
- Maintain accurate tracking on all calendars and project management tools for due dates and assigned staff.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree. Degree in library science or related field is a plus.
Experience:
Experience in records management, document control, enterprise knowledge, cataloging or electronic records management. This may include work in a library or other environment, and may include experience receiving, organizing and managing a variety of document and data types. Work experience as a medical records librarian or legal librarian is a plus. Experience working in a deadline-driven environment is a plus.
Skills required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
- Proven exceptional organizational skills
- Familiar with creating PDF documents
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to take responsibility for a task, ask questions and seek help as necessary

Location and hours: While a person located in the Austin area is preferred, this is an on-site position. The person must be on site between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Central Time. Some evening and weekend work is required to meet project deadlines.
