We are looking for a full-time Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team! As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring proper computer operations and good customer service so that end users can accomplish organizational tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist internal staff and provide a high level of customer service and support as it relates to responding to help desk requests.
-Troubleshoot and deliver solutions to common software problems. Determine when to escalate an issue to the next level required.
-Work with software vendor's support team to troubleshoot and resolve new issues.
-Constantly monitor and manage the help desk ticket queue and respond to requests in a timely fashion, logging both the problem and resolution in the ticket.
-Create a knowledge base and ensure that it is maintained with complete and accurate information.
Set-up and Troubleshoot:
-Network and local printers
-Workstations and mobile devices
-Internet issues (Cisco/Meraki)
-Check scanning devices connected to Computers (formatting, installing software/hardware)
-Set up and manage Azure/Entra ID Accounts
-VoIP phone systems
Essential Skills/ Experience:
-Should genuinely care about people and want to help them. Must have the ability to be patient, friendly, and kind in all situations.
-Needs to be comfortable working with people from all departments, including managers and executives, in person, on the phone, and via email.
-Must be a well-rounded team player, who is reliable, and willing to contribute in various projects when needed.
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues that may be impacting the productivity of any and all employees.
-Ability to assess impact of incoming requests and prioritize them in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
-Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new software.
-Able to work independently, perform research, analyze data, identify trends, take and recommend appropriate actions with minimal supervision.
