JOB PURPOSE:
To provide Food & Beverage service to the Pala Casino Spa and Resort Hotel guests in a positive and professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)
- Prior restaurant experience required.
- Must read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be able to perform server cashier function.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Obtain and maintain Pala Gaming License
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide Food & Beverage service to guests.
- Menu item preparation and knowledge.
- Preset and clear tables when needed.
- Perform any scheduled assigned or delegated duties in order to maintain restaurant cleanliness and flow of business.
- Perform all opening and closing side work.
- Greet guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
- Frequently lifting and/or carrying trays up to a maximum of 25 lbs., smelling, tasting, bending, stooping, wrist motion.
- Occasionally lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs for distances up to 50 feet.
- Occasionally pushing and/or pulling up to a maximum of 120 lbs. for distances up to 40 feet.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment and abroad in target communities.
- Moderate noise and smoke levels; some odors.
- Standing and walking on tile, mats, rugs.
- Work in close space with others.
- Subject to various food odors.
