ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email, faxes, and phone calls
- Order office supplies
- Attend weekly stand-up and production meetings
- Full-charge Bookkeeping (Including but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipts, and Purchase Orders)
- Understanding of accruals and prepaids
- Record financial transactions and organize transaction details
- Receive, track, manage, and store documentation for new parts orders and service department files
- Manage time and attendance reports for all hourly staff
- Generate expense reports with accuracy and efficiency
- Process returns/credits to customers and clients as needed
- Ensure job files have correct billing and shipping information
- Coordinate shipments, delivery and/or drive away service
- Maintain production and delivery schedules
- Issue parts and labor and enter orders in accounting system (QuickBooks)
- Follow up on past due orders
- Oversee inventory
- Assist parts department with quotes and purchase orders
- Assist materials manager to coordinate sheets and counters
- Input counts and recounts, if necessary
- Process "moves" when necessary
- Other duties as assigned by the controller
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must own basic tools. Specialized tools will be provided.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- QuickBooks certification
- Strong knowledge of accounting
- Basic data entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent professionalism and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation
Competitive salary for this position, with an anticipated range of $55,000-$62,000 will be commensurate with prior experience.
