We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team and implement various human resources programs. HR Generalist must have a broad knowledge of human resources functions including hiring, compensation and benefits, HR administration, payroll processing, evaluations, and assisting in other departmental projects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with managers and supervisors to identify and determine recruiting needs to include the knowledge, skills, ability, and other qualifications required. Create job postings & interview applicants.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all employees’ HR inquiries.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations. Develop and deliver employee training.
- Maintain comprehensive personnel records/files for benefits plan participation, personnel transactions, new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations. Assist in electronic HR filing. Assist in responding to unemployment claims, employment verifications, earnings verifications, Medical Support Orders. Represent the Company in proceedings and investigations as needed.
- Administer Company’s fringe benefit programs including health, life, and disability insurance, retirement plans, workers’ compensation, family and medical leave, open enrollment, etc.
- Maintain and administer company payroll system (i.e., process weekly, bi-weekly payroll, enter new employees, update benefits withholdings, process timecards, etc.)
- Provide employee services and support related to counseling/coaching, performance and behavior policies, PIP administration, corrective and disciplinary actions, terminations, and general employee issues; maintains employee personnel files, and conducts employment verifications
- Assist with company’s workers compensation programt
- Assist in government filings such as EEO-1 Data Collection, Form 5500, 1095-C, OSHA, WOTC, etc
- Assist in general administrative duties for other departments as assigned
- Position may require up to 20% travel
Skills
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Admin
- 3 years of payroll experience is required
- Experience in ADP Workforcenow
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
- BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field a plus

Pay: $53,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
