The Collection Manager will be an integral part of the management team guiding the company to success.
Responsibilities:
- Sets staff goals, monitors progress, and directs the workflow of the department to assure standards are met.
- Proactively analyses monthly losses, identifying and projecting subsequent month’s losses and delinquency ratios and numbers.
- Supervising, developing, motivating, training, and optimizing performance of staff, including preparing staff performance reviews.
- Developing measurable goals and reporting on their status and results of collection activities for assigned area of responsibility.
- Continually review policies, procedures, and processes to drive efficiencies with the operations of the Department.
- Prepares and maintains required records and reports regarding loss mitigation loan servicing activities to remain in compliance with regulations and internal controls.
- Manages vendor relationships including, but not limited to, repo agents, outside, technology providers, and legal resources.
- Analyzes Risk Management trends and communicates results to management.
- Oversees and completes all projects as assigned; keeps management apprised of all critical issues.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years experience in collections (preferred in the auto Industry)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- must be bilingual Spanish/English.
- Have intermediate Microsoft Office skills in excel, word, etc.
- Be highly organized and systematic.
- Solutions based critical thinking skills.
- Work with a team to achieve your objectives.
- Ability to be both a Player AND a Coach.
