Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals, with a focus on pediatrics. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote the mental health and well-being of your clients.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy sessions to clients utilizing various therapeutic modalities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
- Stay current with clinical research and best practices in the field of behavioral health
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients
- Provide education and support to clients' families regarding mental health issues and coping strategies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Valid licensure or certification as a Clinical Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT) - OR license eligible - we provide supervision for licensure!
- Experience working with clients in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and treatments
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients of all ages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in coding for insurance reimbursement is preferred but not required
