We help with investing, accounting and personal & business advisory. We are in need of an experienced, on-site, full-time Event Director to add to our cutting-edge marketing and sales team. You will be primarily responsible for organizing high-end, creative, promotional events for dentists across the US from venue/event selection to assessing and reporting event results as well as handling all details throughout the process. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our marketing coordinator and sales team to schedule over 40 events per year around the country for our Sales Team. Knowledge of managing social media and email campaigns would be an added plus. Duties and Responsibilities include
- Plan and organize promotional events in accordance with financial and time restraints.
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
- Research, select, and book appropriate venues.
- Maintain event budgets and track the overall event expenses .
- Gain new clients through proactive sales and lead generation measures.
- Meet and exceed sales goals.
- Aid in management of marketing and PR campaigns for event.
- Gather marketing analytics.
- Perform research in order to gain a deep understanding of different requirements and details of each event.
- Meet with management and coordinate with them regularly.
- Negotiate with vendors.
- Carefully supervise event preparation and conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the company’s standards.
- Offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Analyze and evaluate event results by create and presenting reports.
- Coordinate client meetings, arranging lodging, transportation, and activities.
- Plan and organize social outings and events for the company.
- Assist with meeting planning, including recurring monthly team meetings.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in event organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, public relations, or similar relevant field is preferred.
- Outstanding vendor management skills.
- Superb communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Portfolio of documented successful events will be required.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- BA in hospitality management, public relations, or similar relevant field.
- Superb time management skills will be needed.
- High proficiency in Excel and Word.

- Multitasking ability necessary.
- Mac & PC experience preferred.
- Dental experience a plus.
