Harvest new business and grow existing customers utilizing Hub's full complement of Logistics and Transportation solutions. The candidate should have deep expertise and experience in either the Durable Goods, Automotive or Retail sectors.
Essential Job Functions:
- Identifies opportunities within the assigned vertical customer group to develop supply chain solutions, aligning and engaging all appropriate internal resources
Sells across Hub- 's entire portfolio of services and continually builds market share by establishing contact, developing relationships, and recommending solutions for customers
- Works with appropriate Hub teams to develop and maintain a detailed business plan for each customer
- Develops comprehensive customer profiles, detailing history, customer expectations, buying habits, contacts, and analysis of business relationship
- Partners with Account Management to develop and execute customer-specific strategies for new opportunities, including defining goals, milestones, and roles for each team member
- Leverages social media sales platforms and data tools to expand network
- Utilizes CRM and reporting processes to collect, analyze and summarize information in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintains professional knowledge and develops network by attending key industry events as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 + years sales experience
- Undergraduate degree with major or significant coursework in transportation, sales, business, marketing, or communications preferred
- Experience selling to large ($1B+) companies on their transportation and logistics needs
- Experience selling supply chain related services to the durable goods, retail or automotive sectors
- Outstanding oral and written communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft software programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, used in development of reports and presentations
- Vision and creativity to identify opportunities for growth or improvement and designing solutions
- Independent, self-starter motivated to produce results
- Available to travel extensively
