Assistant Used Car Manager
Empire GMC Buick Cadillac is seeking a used car assistant to support the dealership’s Used Car Manager and to take their used car operation to the next level of success. Responsibilities

You will assist with appraising vehicles, ensuring standards and all concerns are noted.

You will maintain a proper used car location making sure all cars are front line ready.

You will build a positive relationship with vendors and work closely with them.

You will have a working knowledge of each car and stays abreast of used vehicle wholesale and retail prices.

You will stock used car inventory in and ensure they are retail ready and compliant.

You will prepare cars for auction including all paperwork, pictures, and costs.

You will work with sales team on opportunities via email or phone.

You will assist in organizing sales meetings.

You will support the sales force on all used cars.

You will reinforce sales objectives for salespersons, reviewing missed trade opportunities, confirm appointments and follow up with no shows.

You will review dealer website, advertising and promotional plans.

You will assist the Used Car Manager in preparing forecasts for daily operating control.

In certain situations, attends auctions.
Qualifications

You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Reliable and presentable in business attire representing in a professional manner.

You have strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

You have experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction.

You have friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.

You are open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development.

Flexible with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays.

You have strong computer and multi-tasking skills, which includes Microsoft Office, Google, Dealer Socket and V-auto.

You have at least one year of prior used vehicle sales experience and have a broad knowledge of all types of vehicles.

You will operate a clean, organized, presentable workplace with a strong attention to details.

High school diploma or the equivalent

You have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
