Job Description:
As the Payroll and HR Specialist, you play a crucial role in managing payroll and HR functions for our diverse client base. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of payroll processing while handling a comprehensive range of HR-related tasks. This role demands strong organizational skills, extensive experience in payroll and HR, and a dedication to providing exceptional client service.
Key Requirements:
- Remote Work Compliance: The Fractional Controller/Accounting Team Manager must maintain a dedicated home office setup, adhere to regular business hours, exclusively utilize company-provided equipment, and communicate through approved channels as outlined by the company.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to clients, senior management, and stakeholders. Positve attitude with Customer centric focus is a must.

Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients across platforms such as Rippling, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and Gusto.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of these regulations.
Human Resources:
- Oversee employee onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Manage employee time logging and attendance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Administer employee benefits setup, including health insurance and 401k plans, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
- Assist with 401k setup and ongoing maintenance for employees.
- Map payroll data to accounting software to facilitate accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Address payroll and HR-related inquiries and issues, providing exceptional customer service to clients.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate integration of payroll data into financial reports.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll and HR regulations and best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
