Phoenix Heart is looking for a Full Time Cardiovascular Technician for a growing clinic in Glendale. The CVT is responsible for EKG interpretation and various cardiac testing.
Position Overview
- Perform diagnostic Holter, Event, and Wireless Telemetry monitor hook up as ordered by providers including Sleep Study Monitoring. Provide usage instructions with excellent communication and patience.
- Basic understanding of Sleep Study analysis and diagnostic usage. ·
- Perform diagnostic Cardiac testing to include, Nuclear Stress Testing, Lexiscan Stress Testing, Stress Echocardiogram, Treadmill Stress Testing, PET Scanning, Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) with exercise, Segmental and Toe Brachial Index (TBI)
- Scanning of Results to charts as well as maintenance of patient charts.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a CVT ·
- Basic knowledge of EKG abnormalities and arrhythmias including life threatening arrhythmias.
- Basic knowledge of EKG interpretation · Knowledge to perform stress testing·
- Ability to perform proper lead placement of EKG’s ·
- Ability to perform stress testing and other procedures · Professional attitude ·
- Ability to solve problems, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment ·
- Ability to make independent decisions regarding matters of significance ·
- Able to work in a team environment and interact positively with team members ·
- Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills ·
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization · Excellent verbal & written communication skills ·

Additional Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent RCT or RCVT (registered) and/or CT or CVT (certified) Cardiology Technician Certification.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent balancing, bending, crouching or stooping. Manual dexterity and repetitive hand/wrist movements. Communication and converse in normal conversations with patients, vendors and other staff. Move, position and transport of patients in excess of 20 lbs. Move, transport and position department materials in excess of 20 lbs. Ability to remain in a stationary position or move about. Vision: Ability to distinguish color, near and far acuity, depth perception and peripheral field of vision Operate computer and other office productive machinery such as nuclear camera, printers and copy machine. Frequent use of gloves and/or Personal Protective Equipment.
