We are seeking a skilled and experienced Energy Reduction Project Developer to join our team, preferably in the NH territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing energy reduction projects for schools and municipalities. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC concepts, energy conservation practices, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with EMC teammates, school staff and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy audits and assessments of municipalities and school facilities to identify energy-saving opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive energy reduction plans tailored to the specific needs and budget constraints of each school.
- Implement energy conservation measures, such as lighting upgrades, HVAC system improvements, and building envelope enhancements.
- Coordinate with school staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of energy reduction projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented energy reduction measures to ensure they are achieving the desired results.
- Provide training and support to school staff on energy conservation practices and the use of energy-efficient technologies.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in energy conservation and recommend innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency in schools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field (HVAC).
- At least 5 years of experience in energy management, conservation, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and practices.
- Experience conducting energy audits and developing energy reduction plans.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects with multi measures simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Certification in energy management or a related field (e.g., Certified Energy Manager) is a plus.
