Sources, recruits, screens, interviews, checks references, makes offers, and coordinates orientation for internal / external applicants and new employees in order to fill current or expected job vacancies. May specialize in recruiting professional, management and hard-to-fill positions such as technology or specialized positions, and college recruitment.
Assist with review of applicant’s work history, education, training and other qualifications. Recommends prospective candidates to hiring manager.
Provides information to applicants about the organization, including culture, job duties / responsibilities, total rewards, work schedule, and opportunities.
Participates in maintaining the internal job posting program.
Places recruitment advertisements.
Proactively identify and participate in job fairs, and interactions with external placement firms.
Responsible for candidate sourcing, which may include Internet mining, networking and cold calls.
Coordinates offer process, including performing reference and background checks, coordinating pre-employment verifications, generating offer letters, notifying candidates who are not selected and coordinating new hire orientation. Coordinates testing of applicants as needed.
Coordinates the relocation of new hires and / or transferring employees.
Incorporates the tenets of diversity through identifying methods to develop diverse candidate pools.
Maintains recruiting record keeping systems and files within HRIS/Recuriting Software System to facilitate the recruitment process and ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Spearhead the implementation and administration of a new recruiting software, assuming full ownership of the process and collaborating closely with the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources to ensure seamless integration and optimal utilization.
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and resources to HR staff and hiring managers to ensure effective utilization of the new software.
Continuously monitor and assess the performance of the recruiting software, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements as needed to optimize recruitment processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and liaising with the software vendor to address any concerns or discrepancies.
Collaborates with leadership on a talent acquisition strategy for assigned business and functional units.
Interacts with leadership to understand current and future talent needs and to assist in developing and implementing a strategic workforce plan for maintaining a pipeline of both entry level candidates as well as seasoned professionals.
Identifies prospective talent resources within competitor or other organizations. Utilizes managers’ external networks and professional associations to create viable applicant pools.
Develops job appropriate behavioral and competency-based interview questions to assist in the selection process.
Serve as HR representation within all interview panels and debrief meetings.
Coaches hiring managers on interviewing techniques and candidate assessment. Provides guidance and recommendation on final selection based on “fit”, backgrounds of previous successful hires and existing talent complements.
Coordinates all temporary staffing needs and maintains relationships with external vendors.
Oversee and uphold the existing onboarding procedures, encompassing the coordination of initial meetings with newly hired personnel to facilitate a seamless integration, provision of essential resources, and meticulous verification of I-9 compliance.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of employment trends, hiring practices, employment law and government regulations. Ensures compliance with all Company policies and government regulations.

Education: Bachelors in a related field
Experience: 3-5 Years
Proven experience in sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and making job offers for various positions, including hard-to-fill and specialized roles.
Expertise in assessing candidates' qualifications and making recommendations to hiring managers.
Experience with HRIS and recruiting software systems, including implementation and administration.
Ability to collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic workforce plans and talent acquisition strategies.
Excellent communication skills to provide detailed information to applicants and interact effectively with leadership, hiring managers, and external vendors.
Advanced knowledge of employment trends, hiring practices, employment law, and government regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the recruitment process.
Strong organizational skills to coordinate all aspects of the recruitment process, including job advertisements, reference checks, and new hire orientation.
Commitment to incorporating diversity in the recruitment process and developing diverse candidate pools.
Ability to coach hiring managers on interviewing techniques and candidate assessment.
