Job Summary
UpScript is looking for engaged team members seeking a full-time career opportunity with our Patient Support team. As a Patient Support Representative, you will respond to and facilitate positive outcomes arising from patient inquiries.
Job Description
- Responsible for providing professional customer service with patients, pharmacies, and our healthcare providers via phone calls, chats, emails, & SMS
- Process prescription orders and schedule telehealth visits in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Escalates inquiries to supervisor or Pharmacist when extensive clinical review is needed.
- Available to work shifts which may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience answering and problem-solving questions related to medical care and benefits information
- Prior experience as a Customer Service Specialist or equivalent, ideally within a similar setting
- Prior experience with submitting prior authorizations for prescriptions
- Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving environment
- Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group
- A positive, proactive attitude, energetic, highly motivated and a self-starter
- Work ethic that is focused, accurate and highly productive
- Prior experience with Salesforce, Google Workspace, Slack, and intermediate level computer skills (multi-screen, multi-tab browser, and other communication too

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
