The HANNA FENICHEL CENTER is looking for a creative, innovative and curiosity-based Teacher who is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to working with young children. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children aged 3-6, working knowledge of Reggio Emilia's philosophy, and a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
As a Hanna teacher, your responsibilities will include planning and delivering age-appropriate, engaging experiences that align with our project-based approach. You will be tasked with creating a welcoming environment for children to explore their creativity, providing individual attention and support to each child, helping them develop their skills and confidence, and ensuring a positive and mutually respectful learning environment.
As a Hanna teacher, you will communicate effectively with parents and provide reflective updates on their child's social, emotional, and intellectual development. Maintaining a clean, organized classroom that encourages children's interests and curiosity is also essential.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, early education or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience working with young children
- Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia philosophy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for inspiring young minds through materials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
