KETA Medical Center leads New York and New Jersey in providing safe and effective ketamine treatments to adults who are struggling with mood disorders. At our offices in Manhattan, Westchester and New Jersey, we offer intravenous ketamine and Spravato, an FDA-approved ketamine nasal spray.
We are currently seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in a pleasant and supportive work environment. In this role, you will be a primary point of contact and administrative liaison to the patients we serve. Responsibilities will include patient intake and registration, insurance verification and followup, and playing a key role in our ongoing patient engagement and retention efforts.

Responsibilities:*
- Respond to prospective patient inquiries, providing information, answering questions, and coordinating follow-up responses when needed.
- Greet new patients who will be receiving care at KETA Medical Center’s offices, via phone, e-mail, and in-person when possible.
- Coordinate and collect pertinent demographic information to register patients in KETA’s systems and electronic medical record (Osmind) following company protocols and HIPAA requirements.
- Collect and verify patient insurance information and eligibility, as needed. Track all aspects of patient history during treatment to facilitate insurance reimbursement.
- Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for each patient’s individual journey during duration of treatment. Help respond to any issues or concerns that arise, escalating as appropriate.
- As a member of the KETA care team, implement and help advance patient engagement and retention activities on an ongoing basis.
- Support KETA’s individual treatment centers with special events and openings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:*
- 3+ years related work experience in a healthcare environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written), organization and project management skills; excellent attention to detail.
- Independent self-starter with a positive attitude, sense of urgency, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and/or exceeding individual and organizational goals.

Compensation:*
$75,000 / year base salary, plus quarterly and year end bonus eligibility. PTO, Paid Holidays, Matching 401(k) are also offered; we do not currently offer health insurance benefits.

Location:*
On site, rotating among our offices in Manhattan, Oradell, NJ, and Westchester. Interoffice travel expenses will be reimbursed.
