This job is full-time in our Houston offices only.
EBS is looking for a dynamic technical project coordinator to track and manage all in-house software and professional services projects from inception to completion and submission for billing. Must be confident, organized, and outgoing -- with excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate face-to-face with developers and technicians having varied communication styles.
Candidates with administrative skills and strong computer skills are encouraged to apply!
The ideal candidate will have some experience in working with or on technical teams, including upper management and software developers.
The Technical Project Coordinator is a highly motivated individual with the ability to drive technology projects through their life-cycle, ensuring technical solutions are sound and aligned to business goals. Responsible for the day-to-day management of projects through all stages of the implementation process.
The Technical Project Coordinator is a professional who can anticipate and resolve any problems, bottlenecks, or scheduling conflicts.
The ideal candidate is a sound communicator who can link developers and business units to ensure high levels of quality and timelines of projects' implementations.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Drive project kick-off activities: internal meetings, statement of work creation, project plan documentation for medium to large business customers.
· Act as an escalation path for implementation projects to reset and clarify expectations.
· Oversee assignments, report on risks, issues, and accomplishments.
· Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal team members.
· Works with the project stakeholders to develop schedules and establish milestones
· Ensures project progress against defined milestones and deadlines
· Actively communicates with key stakeholders to keep them informed on project activities
· Ensures implementations are managed through the Post-Sales process
· Supervises hand-offs ensuring smooth transitions
· Oversees the requirements/functional specification process
Qualifications
Conceptual understanding of all or most of the following technologies:
· SQL
· API Development and deployment
· .NET
· Mobile App maintenance
· Enterprise Implementations
· Windows Server
Skills and Experience Preferred:
· Superb written and verbal communication skills characterized by technical acumen, clarity, and brevity, to effectively communicate (both face-to-face and via teams and email) with client executives and their respective teams.
· External facing/customer experience leading technical projects platform/system integration
· Knowledge and understanding of ERP Systems is considered a strong advantage
· Effective experience ensuring teams are developing and executing against detailed project plans
· 2+ years in project management
· Demonstrated analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data-driven decision making, additionally able to make reasoned decisions in situations of uncertainty or imperfect data
· Confidence in communicating proactively with clients and internal stake holders
· Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
· Passionate about solving real problems
· Self-assured and results-oriented professional with an ownership mentality
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to manage numerous complex projects simultaneously
