The Electrophysiology Clinic at Cary Cardiology is seeking an experienced EP Nurse to join their team! This is an outpatient office setting with Monday through Friday work shifts with no weekends, no call requirements, and the office is closed on most major holidays!

Position Requirements:
Registered Nurse Licensure in the state of North Carolina
BLS and ACLS required (ACLS May be obtained within 4 months of hire)
Basic Arrhythmia knowledge preferred
EPIC EHR experience preferred
This position will work closely with our physicians and patient population while performing daily tasks as part of a cohesive team of nursing staff.
General Nursing Job Duties Include:
- Handling triage calls, completing patient messages and various in basket tasks
- Handling prescription refill requests
- Attend to patients scheduled for nurse visits in the office (post device implants, monitors, etc.)
- Assist with the on-site Coumadin Clinic
- Running Nuclear Stress Tests when scheduled
- Assisting with IV start Bubble studies as needed
- Processing cardiac clearance, disability forms, and other patient forms
- Assist the Medical Secretary in Processing prior authorizations for medications when requested
- Assisting in patient care as required by physician
- Assisting clinic team with general clinic flow as patient volume requires
- Maintaining safe and cohesive clinic environment
- Perform other duties, as assigned
EP Nursing Job Duties Include:
- Assist in loop recorder implant procedures in the office setting when required
- Attend to patients scheduled for nurse visits in the office (post device implants, monitors, etc.)
- Act as a liasion between the EP provider, EP APP extender team, Device clinic team, main clinic providers, and scheduling teams to help ensure care gaps are closed and the patient needs are handled according to provider orders.
- Perform other duties, as assigned

We offer a generous benefit package for full-time staff working at least 30 hours per week including: Medical Insurance, 401k and Profit Sharing, paid time off, holiday pay options for office staff, Optional Aflac insurance options, Credit Union options, Employer paid Dental, Short & Long Term disability insurance, and Life insurance, (Some benefits may have a waiting period and may be prorated for under 40hr./week employees).
We do not expect travel between office locations at this time, but do offer mileage reimbursement in the case that any travel is requested.
