The LeFrak Center at Lakeside is Brooklyn’s activity destination featuring year-round activities including ice skating, roller skating, bumper cars, dining, water play, biking, boating, family-friendly classes and special events.
This first-class family entertainment facility is comprised of 35,000 square feet of interior space and offices, two ice skating rinks which convert to a splash pad area and roller skating arena, biking and boating activities. With indoor and outdoor dining areas, café, bar and catering facilities, and designated event spaces and multipurpose rooms, we are equipped to host a wide range of events including sports tournaments, clinics, special events, banquets, meetings, weddings, concerts, community events and other family friendly activities.
Position: Festivals and Partnerships Manager
We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven festivals and partnerships manager to help us expand our reach, forge strategic partnerships and drive growth opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business as well as strategic relationships within the special events industry with a focus on festivals, concerts, galas, trade shows, and conferences.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Partnership Development:
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with corporate clients, event organizers, agencies, venues and sponsors
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that align with the company's objectives
- Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial cross promotions and synergies
- Represent our company at industry events and meetings, showcasing our capabilities
Festival/Event Sales:
- 360-degree event coverage: field inquiry, close event, negotiate and create contracts, manage calendar, relay event information to on-site staff
- Participate in expos and seminars that result in new client leads and development of event sales knowledge
- Work with events staff and on-site management in execution of events
Market Expansion:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand our presence in existing markets and enter new markets
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess market potential to inform expansion decisions
- Monitor market trends, competitor analysis and adapt the company's offerings accordingly
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve growth objectives
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators related to business development and partnerships
- Prepare regular reports for management on status as well as insights and recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in business development and partnerships, preferably in the events or entertainment industry
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data
- Results-oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
Compensation Structure:
- Base salary plus commissions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
