Job Summary
Primary responsibilities will include managing product inspections and release, managing non-conforming product identification and segregation and to assist with improvements in processes, functions & initiatives for Quality Performance and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Core Responsibilities
Assists in regulatory audits such as FDA and ISO.
Assists in projects and tasks as needed.
Assists in complaint investigations and problem solving.
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested by immediate supervisor, other management personnel, or as business need dictates.
Supervises the Quality Assurance Technicians
Manages non-conforming product identification, segregation and follow up on corrective action response on time.
Back up and support all QA Technicans duties
Oversee Sterilization batch release
Oversee DHR review and release
Oversee product inspections (Finish good and raw materials)
Qualifying Experience
Associate degree in a science discipline or a related field, and a minimum of 2-4 years of regulatory / quality systems experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must possess a strong work ethic and a proven ability to work independently, make decisions and demonstrate good judgment.
Requires the ability to process and safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
Willingness to attend educational workshops/seminars and review professional publications quarterly to maintain and increase professional/technical knowledge
